ok here is the question will a 10 in cluth that fits a 85 mustang also fit a 89 mustang with a 10.5 in clutch. Is there any difference in the flywheels or was the difference all in the pressure plate

I am going to have to say no, only because I know the 10.5" assembly wont fit the 10" flywheel. But cant say for sure.

Don't downsize, a 10.5 clutchplate has nearly 25% more surface area thus more grip.

I am just wondering if it would fit, because this is for my buddies stock 5.0 stang and I have a centerforce dual friction laying around. don't think holding will be the problem
