I bet the guys who bought the Vette instead of the Cobra back then are kicking themself's now. Gotta save 1 grand, buy the Vette, now the Cobra's are worth at least 125k for a good driver, the Vettes worth probably 45k for a mint restored one.

If only eh!!!

BTW....A 427 Cobra in good original shape is bringing up to $ 500,000.00 from "the rich and famous"!!!

There's a guy in Florida who has two of them and races one. They guy at Cobra Restorers in Kennesaw, Ga. says he crashes it quite often.....New body panels and back at it!!!

The local mustang guru said he got into Fords when he was beaten by a cobra (he was driving a borevette)

He ended up owning six real cobras at one time in the late 70's.
