Getting ready to add the NOS Sniper 100-150 shot system to my 306 Ford crate motor. Looking for advise on colder plugs. I've been running Motorcraft AGSP 32 C without spray. An NGK R5671A-8 was suggested. I've had good luck with Motorcraft plugs so I wouldn't mind sticking with them. I'm running a MSD 6AL currently but will upgrade to the Digital Plus soon. In the meantime I'll retard the timing a few degrees if I plan on spraying. Thanks in advance for any help.

With that small shot I wouldn't worry about colder plugs. Just pull out timing, use a good ignition (no points!). Back when I played with nitrous I ran a Jacobs Nitrous MasterMind. Would automatically retard timing, set the rpm for nitrous flow start, ramp rate, shut off rpm, rev limiter, monitored fuel pressure, etc. Don't know if they still sell them but it would babysit the engine and was adjustable from the dash. When the nitrous hits, things happen quickly. Make things as automatic as you can.
