I was doing a compression check on the Maverick's 414 the other day....gauge showed 275 on 7 cylinders and 270 on the last one.

I'm wondering...has anyone else checked their pressure with a gauge, or is my gauge a liar? Same gauge showed 140psi on the neighbor's 2.3L Mustang.

Yep, it shows exactly what I came up with on the gauge. Intake valve closes at 40 ABDC, and it came up with 270.3 psi on the calc. Right on the nuts!

I would have never figured that it'd be that high. I guess Cam Dynamics got that cam pretty close.
