Converted my 63 3spd on the column to a 5speed and trying to make it look like a professional job. i purchased the tranny cover for a non councel car but it doesn't seem to fit the shape of the floor very well.

I'm going to try and take some pictures ( wish i would have thought of that while i was working on car) so to show the issues.

was the transmission hump on the floor the same in the automatic as a manual cars?

thanks
Kevin

it you look at picture in bottom of this post...
http://www.fordmuscleforums.com/1621858-post27.html

you see how it follows conture of tranny hump....
now that's oem style for a four spd and shifter assembly mounts to the left side of tranny tailshaft housing...
with a t-5 or a tko , shifter is located in center and theres no of set ..
like toploader or t10....
