All clasic cars are going for rediculous prices in my opinion, look on ebay to see how much fastbacks are going for, then think about the fact that mustangs were pretty much economy cars with good looking sheet metal and big motors put in. Im just glad I got my mustang when I did.

Not that I want to do this to my coupe, I was wondering if this part made it a lot easier to do a conversion. I bet there are a few parts that still need to be dredged up.
The inner structure in front of the wheelwell is quite different. I friend bought what he thought was a '67 fastback and when I went to see it it was a "frankenstang" '68 coupe with a '67 fastback roof grafted on. It was done in the '70's or 80's and was in rough shape but it was apparent where the grafting was done (poorly). Having said that it is possible to do it well but you still need a good roof. One of the companies that makes the full FB quarter is working on a full '67/'68 shell so I hear. Stu
