I just noticed last nite that the pass. side mount for the sway bar (the mount attatched to the frame that the sway bar mounts to) broke/cracked. It cracked at the two holes where the sway bar attatches to it. I am going to have 2 replacements fabricated out of some plate steel as a pre-caution.
Was wondering what might have caused this?
Thanks for any ideas!

LeMan's style driving in a family/muscle car? Just kidding. I think you got it figure out. Does your mount have the two holes on the same side? The '64 does. Weirdest thing I ever saw for a sway bar mounting system. You'ld have thunk that having a bolt on each side would have been stronger.
