I'm liking this "Drag Tube" idea

OK ... term correction ... "Road Draft Tube"
Sorry for syntax error

What diameter tube would be correct for one of these?

I presume you just run it down below the chassis to a point where it will be exposed to air movement ...

I got the part in a previous post about 45 degree cut on the end of tube.

Any other aspects I should take into account?

hummmmmmm........isn't the same concept as the 50's and early 60's engines used before emmissions came along? Back then it was called a "Road draft tube". If I remember correctly, the were cut at like 90 degrees, parallel to the road surface. And if you noticed how the pan-vac systems MOROSO sells, once intalled, the 45 degree cut on the tube is parallel to the flow of the exhaust.

BTW, most of the tubes were like 1/2 to 3/4" in diameter if I remember correctly. Ask the question at this forum....

Most of the guys that post here have cars with the Road draft tubes on them.
