Did anyone see Currie's '65 Mustang in this month's Hot Rod, and the very simple rear suspension he was running? He used leafs with a 1" drop, and two lateral links parallel to the ground, in front and behind the 9" carrier. It looked very simple and inexpensive. He had to keep it this way due to the rules of the Mexican Road Race. Any idea how this setup handles for the street? Any other ideas for simple rear suspension handling tricks for non-tubbed cars?

I think it would be fine for the street. I want to try and make one for a buddies MGB someday.
