I'm getting ready to do some work on my 65 Ranchero.

one of the things I want to change is the steering box to a later Falcon or Fairlane that does NOT have an integral steering shaft. (current column modifications will be in order).

Another is the addition to disc brakes on the front.

I have read and noticed quite a bit of the Granada swap---but things are still a bit fuzzy.

Not long ago, I appropriated a set of spindles/rotors/calipers from a 73
Maverick. Would these be the same as a Granada???

Using these Maverick spindles, am I still gonna have the "Bump Steer" issues or perhaps the tie rod issues that are common to the Granada??

Someone on some site mentioned that the Maverick brakes will work, but never did go into any detail as to what I may encounter when installing.

Since the engine is coming out very soon, this would present a perfect opportunity to change the steering box as I have located a Fairlane box that is non power assist and having a steering column that can easily removed is a big plus for any under dash work that is coming----and it is coming.
