Measuring everything in preparation to swap a TKO 600 in place of my Cruise-o-matic it looks like I'm going to need a driveshaft 61.5" long between U-joint centers. Also seems that 61.5" is a stock driveshaft length for an S10 pickup. Would a stock S10 driveshaft be stout enough to drive a 5 speed Galaxie? Anyone know of any other vehicles that might cough up a better suited ready to run 61.5" driveshaft?
