What is the difference between the normal black connector and the seemingly "hallowed" blue connector on a Duraspark ignition module? I picked up a 351 W Duraspark out of an E250 but was remiss in getting a box. Is there a difference?
Thanks

The color codes refer to the actual strain relief (where the harness comes out of the module) color, not the connector color (black). What year truck?

I think it was out of an 83-84 E250 van. I'll need to go back and find a box. Are the boxes relatively tough, or would I be better picking up a new/rebuild box form the zone or Kragen (Checkers)? thanks for the info.

You want only MOTORCRAFT, no CHI-COM refurbished crap. If low on funds, pick up a couple at a junk yard. Make sure your engine takes BLUE. Some vans of that era had CFI/Feedback Carb and used a different type.
