Does anyone know how much retard is built into the duraspark module for starting ??

Yep, the white wire from the module controls it. Just wondering if anyone knew how much. Can't seem to find that anywhere.

I had the white wire hooked to a pressure switch on my old '74 Maverick turbo 302. Had 10 deg. retard, IIRC.

I just looked at an old motorcraft ignition book and it does not say anything about timing retard.

I do see in the wiring diagram that the white wire is used to feed voltage to the module while the key is in the cranking position and the red wire is used to feed the module while the key is in the run position.
