I did my dyno testing this week, and here are the results (SAE corrected) of the best run:

max HP = 278 @ 6400 RPM
max TQ = 255 @ 4900 RPM

Through tuning, we were able to increase 13HP and 14ft-lbs from the baseline run.

With these numbers, any comments about what shift point would give the best ET?

Most of it's listed in the MY CARS entry. Let me know if you have questions on something which isn't listed there.

Wow I'm suprised the hydro cam and dual-plane intake made peak power that high... how high will it rev before the power really drops off (valve float/lifter pump up)? My combo is very similar to your except solid lifter cam, Xcelerator single plane intake, and lightly ported Windsor Jr. iron heads, and I think I make peak power about 6500 as well... shift at 7400 at the drag races with T5 trans. Are you sure about the weight of your car? Seems like it should run faster than it does, since my pickup only has 4.10 gears, worse heads, street radials, and WAY more weight (3300lbs with me in it) and I've run a 13.4 @ 103.7, 2.05 60ft. But if you're making peak power at 6500 you should be shifting up around 7000 at least... so if the hydraulic cam ain't up to the job, might want to look at getting a solid lifter cam.

I'm currently shifting at 6700 because I really didn't know where the power was dropping off. I am also concerned about reving too high with the hydro cam, so I might look into a solid.

The weight of my car is correct. It's 2600 without me and 2800 with me. The 13.3 was run at Bandimere (5800 ft elevation) and was prior to some recent mods including electric fan, electric water pump, windage tray, re-ring, and some port matching of the headers to the exhaust ports. Using the NHRA correction factor for Bandimere gives a 12.5 ET at sea level, which seems about right from what I've seen of others. I also had some traction problems due to new leaf springs raising the rear of the car, but now I've lowered it 2 inches. I'm hoping to get the traction resolved so I can concentrate on the other tuning.
