Edelbrock has released their Pro Flo Multi Port Injection for the small Ford. They've been very popular with Chevy and Jeep guys. This is basically the "carburetor with a brain", but with much better electronic controls than older versions. What I like about MPI is that I can put a large air cleaner over it and, except for the fuel rails, it will look like a carb. I really wish to keep the old-school look for my hot rodded Falcon.

So, my question is, what are the tradeoffs between the MPI and the "plenum style" (i.e., the 5.0 type) fuel injection. (I think the 5.0 type is sequential fuel injection, right?) Any discussion on these two systems would be most appreciated.
