Hi all,
I've got a 69' Mustang with a 351W stroker. Just got my taxes done-refund- and it looks like it's EFI time.

I've talked to the guys from FAST, Accel. I haven't gotten any info on Mass-flo yet. I'm ok to spend.

So what are you guys running and if you can do it all over again would you still install the same system?

Would appreciate any info. thanks.

My 89 has a a stock EEC IV that came in the car, it has a custom program written to help it work a bit better with the needs of the 351C instead of the original 5.0.

My new car will have a WMS Puter which is Tune-On-The-Fly capable without the need for a laptop.

cheap way is to get a mass air computer and wiring harness from a 5.0 mustang (A9L computer), then use the TwEECer to tune it....

TwEECer is a nice setup. You can download their CalXXX software for free and see how powerful it is. On my 66 I was thinking of going the MassFlo direction, simply because they provide literally, EVERYTHING, in their base package. My 331's hopefully going to be in the 550hp+ range, and when I talked it over with them, they said NP, go with 42lb injectors, and you're gold. I'd actually source all the parts myself, but I don't know what kind of convertor would allow a LSx MAF to send the proper signal to a Ford EEC, plus I can't find a place that sells the right type 4V throttle body for a decent price. If there's one thing I hate about 86-93 EFI, it's that ugly, ugly intake setup, with that retarded snorkel and MAF/Throttle body. Prefer the carbed intake look.

By the way, even if I use their setup, I'll still use the TwEECer....too easy to diagnose, modify, etc. And it's only about 500$ with the data logger (which you can upgrade to later).
C.

Yeah, I like the way Mass Flo has the meter under a regular carb'd air filter. Hate to toss my K&N's. So you can data log with the twEECer? What kind of info does it record and can you program if needed?

Yes, you can datalog, with the TwEECer RT, here's the link:

http://www.tweecer.com/

The RT is an add on to the main system, that's basically a datalogger. Nice system. You can program with the main system as well, pretty much any parameter the ECU monitors, is programmable. Injector size, cubic inches, etc. You can then get into timing and spark modifiers as well.

Cool system.
