1963 289 2bbl. Intake manifold has the crankcase vent that comes up on back of intake man. and goes thru tube to carb spacer intake port. Valve covers have no oil fill holes or breather caps, just the oil fill tube on front of motor. I'm changing to edelbrock 4bbl intake that has no milled opening on the rear for the recirculation of the cranckcase blowby. What mods should be done? Thanks for help Tom G

Just change valve covers to ones that have filler and PVC openings.

Simply use a carb spacer (phenolic) that has a vacuum source nipple for the PCV signal. You will have to go to open style rocker cover(s) that will accept the PCV Valve and the other open oil fill cap (or you can use one open rocker cover and one closed (as on 65 SBF) and still use the front cover oil fill cap as the fresh air intake.
