This has probably been beaten to death...
but what electric fuel pump do you guys recommend with my combo? And should I run both or delete the mechanical? I am in the process of running all new lines to the carb and have already upgraded the tank pickup to 3/8 and the line to 3/8.
Thanks!

I have read here and elswhere that the Mallory pumps are much quieter than the Holleys. I will probably do this mod as well in the future and right now I think the Mallory is the way to go on a street/strip car.

BTW great looking car Thordane. I love the early fastbacks. When do you plan to get it back to the strip to try and hit the 11's?

Thanks for the car comments...
I will be going to the track in July and then again in August. I have a lot of litttle things to do to the car plus install a lakewood, MSD distributor, solid cam. Like most people, mostly just a time issue!
My car really flattens out in 4th at the strip... so I think I had a fuel issue. Hopefully the mallory cures that.
Thanks again!

I bought the Comp 110 pump this winter and after talking with Mallory tech, found out it would be too small for my needs. So I will be using that for another build, but I then bought an Aeromotive SS 150+ GPH pump just like mentioned above. It is very quiet and seems to be working awesome. I think either choice of the Aeromotive or the Mallory 110 or 140 will be a great decision.
