Can someone with a 70 XL that has the hood emblems take a few measurements for me,please? Distance from the botttom edge of the hood to the bottom of the letters, and from the center line of the hood to the edge of the letters. Please and thank you.

BTW, I finally located the hood letters I've been searching for, for over 25 years.

Got them repainted and glued on this morning. I scraped off the old,pitted paint, then used model paint. I then gave them 2 coats of Krylon clear matte and they look brand new.

Nice job... Finally finding that long lost part sure is Kool... Thanks for the pics... I have a 63 but I still like checking out what every one else is working on...

Thanks...and yes..when you find that one piece, its like winning a lottery! I think a lot of these letters were lost in car washes back in the day..same thing with the trunk lock covers. These were only the 2nd set of letters I've ever found for sale.
