I need to store a 390 engine for a few months and need to be able to move it around my garage as needed. I prefer to use an engine cradle over the traditional engine stand. It seems the only cradle available sells for $39-$59 based on where you buy it. Northern tool has it for $39. It has four wheels, mounts for the motor mounts to bolt and brackets to mount the rear/front of the engine. Has anyone used this cradle and did you like it, or recommend a better one? Thanks in advance.

Here's my high tech engine cradle. It's a wooden frame that an engine was shipped in and it fits nicely on the lower section of a shopping cart.

I just use a shopping cart myself. I've got an endless suplly of them though. People leave them at the bus stop in my shops parking lot. I call the store it belongs to and give them 24 hours to come get it, or Im cutting it up. Some come, some dont, and I'm never short on shopping carts
