Hello. I have been thinking of epoxying the intake and heads on a 4V Cleveland. I called around today, and only one machine shop had any exp. with epoxy. They suggested Moroso A+B. Anyone on this board have any exp. in this area? How much do you fill? I was thinking about 3/4" at the head entrance. How many packages will it take? Do you fill all at once, or in layers? I figure the head has to be very clean and somewhat scuffed up. I also heard about using screws to help hold the epoxy in place. Any input would be great. Thanks, Matt.

I have used A-B putty on a 4-v alum. intake (to make it work on 2-v heads) it stuck very well (never came off). All I did was grind (rough up ) the surface and then kneeded the two parts of the putty together and squished them into place. The stuff is very thick and goes on in one layer. One package of the stuff should do all 8 cyls.I circle track raced with it in place and thats about as much abuse as any thing will ever get!
