How do you remove the body trim off of a 1965 Fairlane. Everything I start to do I feel like I'm gonna break it. Also its only missing one piece any ideas on where to get another piece. It's for the front drivers fender. I keep an eye on all junkyard around my location. Thanks.

the 64 Fairlanes had nuts retaining most of the clips for the trim. You have to access them from inside the Fenders, Doors etc.

Check Ebay for trim. Or maybe someone on here or Fairlane Club of America.

Thanks. The only piece of trim I can't figure out now though is the ones on the front fenders. There's no way that I could find to access them for removal.

The manual walks you through removing trim, in my case for example, on 62-64's to remove the front, very end fasteners, you have to get behind the splash shield to get to the bolt head, only the end fasteners bolt on. Get the end bolts removed & you can litteraly slide the side trim off, towards the front of the car. all the other fasteners, simply open up the 2 ceter prongs, the fastner will fall off.
