Has anyone ever installed an extra capacity oil pan in a 64? I'm looking at a Canton 15-660 7 qt unit, but it's the T style an is 13-1/2" across the bottom sump. The top of the sump is 5" below the flange and am wondering if it will work possibly with some fabricated motor mounts? Henry did not leave us much room between the mounts down there....

I have a Milodon 8qt on a 420W in my 64. I used the Crities lower cross member brace and it leaves just enough enough room to get on the pan plug.
