Just a couple. Got a 302 out of a 72 Bronco. Got that one from a friend of my fatherinlaw, has less than 100 miles on it. Thought I was buying an extra 390 ,guy dropped it off in my garage, ended up being a 460. Figured not bad for 50 bucks.
Well, I got the 302. It's a 30over 68 block with p and p 68 302 heads, screw in studs, roller cam (not sure of the specs yet). Needs oil pump, intake, blah, blah, blah. Got it for the Fairlane, just need to finish it off, and check the cam specs. Should be better than my old 289. Gotta love the barter system, traded a tranny and aircleaner for the motor.
Just picked up a spare 5.0 for the Cobra on Saturday. The one in the Cobra now is a stock '93. The new one is going to get a total rebuild, some performance mods, and a bunch of pretty stuff. The next winter I'll do the swap.
I have a 390 sitting in my backyard. I plan on building that one when I get a job, it's gonna be a really bad ass engine. But for now, the 347 works pretty good, it got me a 13.8 in the 1/4 mile. Probably slower now, with the stereo I added.
