They look like '66 or '67 seats to me, but I would need to check a catalog to confirm. The trim changed in '68, and '69 a seats switched over to headrests/head support so I know they aren't that late.
I've heard of people using the early Mustang seats since they are similar in size to the early Fairlane seats, and they are pretty cheap to buy. I paid $40 for a good seat from a '68.
The "only" thing wrong with the stang seats are they are way to low in the bottom seat area.
If you were to sit one side by side you'd see the big difference. I have the patience of Jobe & my bench seat is in great shape so I'm sure, eventually, I run across a decent set.
You can always add spacers in beneath the seats. I have seen this done (most likely by the dealer) where washers were added in between the seat tracks and the floor to lift the seat. The other nice thing about the Mustang seats is the options for the upholstery is pretty wide including a modified stock look with added lat bolsters.
go to forums/ 62 to 65 Fairlanes and post a wanted ad.

Picking up some parts for my 64 Thursday, this guy says he has a bunch of 63-64 stuff. I will see what he has seatwise. Are you needing a console as well? Dwayne
Just the bucket seats Dwayne ... going to a 5 speed so console is of no interest. Rest of car is intact. Just bough the 1 piece missing ... the dome light bezel & light cover.
Thanks Grilljames but I ended up with a set of '64 econoline buckets & had them redone. Working on the change over now that the weather has cooled somewhat.
Thanks.
