I recently purchased a basket case 66 Falcon from an estate sale. It has a freshly rebuilt 428 with CJ heads. In the ignition parts box is a FoMoCo dual point dist. with mech adv. The tag tied to it reads:
2L 29
C5AF
12127
E
My local NAPA dealer is stumped on getting me fresh parts for it...who can help with replacement numbers for - Points, Condenser, Cap, Rotor?

i found this at www.rockauto.com

i looked under 69 mustang...
most likelly the same...

condenser...

cap...heavy duty
KEMPARTS Part # 216M

rotor...heavy duty

You can try looking under mustang or torino to get the parts.

Nice find on the 66, I just got a 68 myself. post up some pics!

small cap and rotor are the same for all V8's sence 1957


daul pionts , ask for 65 427 Fairlane
