Rob, if you don't find a dedicated FE shop near you, I can strongly vouch for my local FE machinist. He's 68 and semi-retired (but still works in his machine shop every day!) and is kept busy by those of us who won't let him completely retire. He is VERY particular, conscientious, and fair-priced, as well as a expert FE builder since they were new. He routinely takes on engines for out of town guys and has a stand on which he can run them in before sending the engine to you so that you won't have problems. You won't regret doing business with him, even long distance.

As the saying goes, everything's a little bit better in Texas. LOL.
