Motorsport block, eagle rods, eagle crank, je pistons, bullett roller cam, jegs/kaase heads, victor jr., with a 950 alcohol carb. Power glide trans, 4.30 gear, 28x10.5w tires. This is in an 85 mustang. It ran 10.09 @129 mph. Still have some adjustments I think. The timing is @ 30 deg, I'm launching @ 4800 rpm and shifting @ 7000 rpm. What do you guys think ?
Thanks

Sounds pretty good. Tell us more about the alcohol? What do you run? My compression is 13:1 and I was thinking about going to alky but I'm not sure where I could get any. How much is the stuff? Does it attack your fuel lines? What are you using for a pump?

Thanks

I buy the alcohol from a local racer. I'm not sure of the brand. The cost is $130.00 per drum. I never had a problem with fuel lines on any of my cars. I clean everything out over the winter and lube the carb and pump for the winter. You use alot to get the engine warmed up and to keep the engine warm. If you switch you should put a lean out valve from the intake manifold to help to warm the engine. The compression is 13:1, and I'm using a mallory 250gph alcohol pump mounted in the trunk.
Thanks
