Any flathead experts here? Getting ready to drop my friends back into his 46 Pickup. Any tricks or tips? The tranny is still in, and we have a dummy spline to use. Seems pretty straight forward but I likes to be prepared.

Congrats!! Starts me thinking I should really work on my '41!

It went well, we ended up having to take drivers side exh. manifold off for more room, but after that just took a few tries to get lined up and it slid home.
I'll post a pic when I get a chance. Engine was rebuilt here in RI and looks real good.
