Floating pins have a couple of advantages over pressed pins. Floaters are easy to get on and off during freshen-ups in the winter, and supposedly are worth a couple horsepower. Pressed pins are supposedly "theoretically" stronger, due to the fact that you have to remove metal to install the bushing in full-floating applications. Pressed pins are my choice, but we have a way of easily doing them without pressing them onto the rods. It sure is easier than puttin in spirolocks!
