Flowmaster outlaw race mufflers

thinking about a new set of mufflers for my 70 mach1. Anybody running flowmaster outlaw race mufflers on their street / strip car or race car? Just wondering if they will work on the street for keeping the noise down during low to mid rpm's , but sound and flow near open headers when you put the pedal down. Just looking for a muffler that can get past the police while cruising.
