hello everyone, i'm rebuilding my 65 coupe front end and i have bought new upper and lower control arms. my question is how do i determine what thickness and how many shims to put back behind the upper arms?. when i removed the old ones some of the shims fell out before i could tell what went where. any help would be greatly appreciated thanks, wendell.

About 1/2" up front and 3/8" in the rear is a good starting place.
Are you going to lower the upper control arms?
Now is the time if you'd like to start heading down the path of a good handling Mustang
