I have a 65 fairlane with the front strut rod suspension. Ive replaced the stock bushings with the enery suspension bushings but my concern is the suspension unloading or not staying solid at high mph. Has anyone gone 130+ mph with this type of suspension? I think the mustangs in that year had the same set up didnt they, any advice?

Yes, mustangs have the strut rod suspension. I can't speak for characteristics at 130 mph 'cause my car is not done yet, but what I did want to say (and maybe you have already heards this) is that the poly bushings are hard and he strut rods have been known to break with these bushings. I went to Total control strut rods for safety on my vehicle. They cost a few bucks but provide peace of mind. In retrospect, it would be a simple matter to fabricate a set of these yourself and save some money.
