i finally got my car up and running and took it for a test run. car runs great for about 15-20 minuts then the pressure in the tank gets so high the pump can't pump any fuel.as soon as it dies,if i take the cap off and let the pressure out the fuel pressure comes right back up and the car starts and runs great until the next time it builds up. i got a new gas cap (vented) today but haven't had the chance to go out and drive it yet. should this new cap solve the problem? the stock pickup has 2 lines coming off it and the smaller of the 2 is capped off from the factory. if the cap does not solve it can i run a line off the pickup for a vent? thanks guys.
