wife and i are going. staying downtown, apparently close to the show. desk guy at the hotel told me when i called there are alot of nice pubs in the area. we plan on checking those out as well (if he wasn't feeding me a line to get us to book a room).
anyway 5 hrs from ottumwa ia. should be a good time
From what I've been told is that the Galaxies are to be the leed group for the cruise, on crurse night. It is to form at the Illinos Dept. of Trans. office and work to the downtown to the capital area. For a much more detailed information you could contact the president of our culb Midwest Galxie Club. Her name is Beverly Wake at [email protected] the last time to talked to her she was hoping to have maybr close to 100 Galaxies to show up.
My girlfriend and I will be there from Va. Driving my "new"67-pic page 12---900 miles in two days-be there thurs. at Staybridge Suites-last I heard there were 91 Galaxies already entered last week. Stewart
Sat. Registration opens at 9am-noon-show 11am-9pm
Sunday - reg-9am-noon-Show11am-3pm. Cars may not leave early unless an emergency because of the crowd. Police must escort vehicles out and cannot return. Sat. will be a long day, but they will keep us entertained I'm sure.
Not sure when 63ford406/Richard and Cliff will arrive since they are driving there from the Los Angeles area. Heck not even sure of 63ford's car color now! I think he told me it was finally all one color of primer rather than his trademark one or two fenders primer the rest paint
63 wagon whatever color it is now and Cliff's is a Red '67 w/white ragtop 7 litre. Guess the CA plates will help identify if you wanted to say howdy.
I have a question is it still possible to get in the show? My car isn't that good looking but I won't have another opportunity to do somethinkg like this for a few years after I go off to college, but I also don't want to feel like an idiot and have the only primered car there. I'm about 100miles aways in O'fallon, MO.
If I go though I'll sand off the red overspray and put some more primer over the bondo and stuff.

hey m3fordboy. i don't know much about entry information (sorry) but don't be embaressed to enter your car if possible. personally i like looking at work in progress as well or better than the completed cars.
