I have a universal wiring harness im am going to start putting in my 64. When i was looking at the rear wiring (taillights) i noticed red wires going to the body right at the truck latch. Are all the grounds the same color? im used to having a black wire for ground. Is there any info i need to know before i attempt this and burn my car to the ground?

I beleive that group of wires should be associated to the license plate light connection. One may be a ground, but there should be another pig tail connection (female) that will connect up to the light.
