I laid down a couple of nice coats of glyptal in the lifter valley and behind the timing cover. I'm just curious what the dry time is on this stuff.
If it supposed to get hard? it seems that the stuff coats real well but it doesn't seem to be drying because I can still make impressions in the paint.
It's been on there a few hours but I have never used the stuff before. It seems to go on pretty thick. I guess im just worried that the stuff is going to peel off. Once dry, this stuff should be pretty hard like paint right?
I'm using the the 1201-A out of a spray can and the block was prepped and cleaned so that's not an issue.
