Yeah, lotta people don't know Dodge is responsible for the funny cars.

Great pics, thanks for sharing. We recently lost our local dragstrip - Southeastern Dragway - to urban growth. Oldest track in the southeast, just celebrated 50 years last year. Some of the greats raced there, like Petty, Garlits and Muldowney. Boy I think I was born about 25 years too late.

I would give anything i have,have had,or will have to be born in the 50 or 60's. Screw the computers and all that bs, growing up in times like those must have been nirvana to a car freak. In those days every where you would look something would be screaming by you. Today? Its more 4 door sedans with 4 cyl's, vans, grocery getters and the worst of all..f'n rice burners. "raises beer" Here's to a life of classic cars and muscle cars. I think i can hear Time Of The Season playing in the background there.
