On this day in 1986 I was in a horrible car accident. and on this day or within the first two weeks of June, James C. Allison or JC Allison as we know him bought his 1964 Galaxie 500 XL 4 door hard top convertible from his mother for the price of $1.00. He has since put a gazillion miles on her and she is officially over the 200K mark and still running.

I miss JC and called him today and several times this year but have received no answer, and there was no answering machine.

Yeah, send him a note, or post in his threads on Ford Forums Online. I recently suggested he try calling a vendor he was wanting more detail from and he said he doesn't like the phone because he can't hear well, so he prefers written communication. Maybe you can help him get Lorrie's steering box fixed?

Yeah, the steering gear has a lot of slop in it, he can turn the steering wheel a bunch before the wheels move. He plans to drive Lorrie to Huston for a Dr.'s appointment because he has been having trouble with Ms. American and doesn't trust her to get him there and back. I have some concern with that worn out steering box running down the highway and through Huston, but shes his sweetheart, and she is licensed to be on the road, where Ms. Am is not. We'll have to wait and see how he makes out.

He did post the other day and seems to be fine, and still waging war on the dust mites.
