Over on the FE forum there is a thread on Galaxie weights and there is nothing coming in on the '65s. Most people are guessing 4100, but from having mine all the way down and back together structurally I can't imagine it being that heavy. I don't have carpet or anything in it so it wouldn't be a good candidate to just weigh.

So, do we have anyone here who has weighed their cars? I'd like to find the weight on an AC and a non AC V8 2dr HT the most, and any others also.

Thanks!

As soon as I can weigh mine, I will. It is a stock 390 4/v with cruise o matic. Front bumper is off, but I'll tell you what; I'll put it in the car so the weight is honest. It will even have a jack and spare tire in it. Now, when I do this, what is more accurate, junk yard scale or truck stop??

I'll see if I can get mine on the scale this week. I expect that it will be slightly less than the stock weight. The only real weight saving things are an aluminum manifold and aluminum rims and the savings here will be offset partially by other accessories that have been added (N2O).
