Anybody ever had the following experience with a blown head gasket?

Oil use.
Excessive crankcase pressure.
Smoking only when "on it". None at idle/low/sustained cruising revs.

No coolant use or overheating.
No noticable miss.

Hoping this is not a ring problem.

Wondering wether I could have a blown headgasket or intake gasket. Only aprox. 2500 miles on the engine, a ring problem seems unlikely, but possible, of course.
Haven't done a compression test yet.

Ya, sounds like rings... under load.
Have you pulled the plugs?

Yea, thats what I thought. I was kinda grasping at straws. I (or my dad and I) gapped the rings. They were a bit wide, but it hasn't started smoking until recently, and that was all the sudden as well. This didn't seem like it was the gap to me. I wasn't sure though, so I figured I would ask for any ideas.
They are a gapless second ring as well....total seal rings. I think the top ring was at 35...that was the suggested setting for nitrous, but I haven't run that yet.
Haven't pulled the plugs or done any diag yet, plan to this weekend time and weather permitting.
