I did the headlight relay conversion to my 62 comet wagon which already has the alternator conversion. The low beams are getting full voltage (14 + volts), but when I hit the high beams (4 light system), the max voltage is in the high 12's. The relays are installed on the driver's side engine bay were the single wires from the headlight switch split and go to both RH and LH lights. I've switched relays, but still the same reading. Can anyone shed some light on this situation? Thanks, mc

SEE HEADLITE WIRING POST . RON FRANCIS RELAY MIGHT HELP.NOTE DIMMER PLUG DIFFERANCE. ADDED CIRCUT SHOULD REALLY HELP. MY 39 FORD STREET ROD'S LIGHTS WERE NOT VERY BRIGHT. CAR WAS REWIRED FOR 12V WITH MODERN WIREING KIT 18 YEARS AGO. BEFORE GOOD HALOGEN BULBS. I RUN HI BEAMS ON ALL TIME AND NO ONE NOTICED. THEY DO NOW AND COST WAS $37.00 FOR HIGH QUALITY RELAY WITH LABELED WIRES THAT WAS EASY TOM INSTALL. HOPE THIS HELPS.
