Anyone know how to get the chrome heater control lever knobs off the 68/69 torino? Are they just pressed on? They're made from plastic and I don't want to destroy them with pliers. I can't see any release clip behind either like other knobs.

Might not help but on an old Galaxie there is a teensy set screw underneath the knob. Takes a teensy allen wrench.

Thanks puttster, that worked! I used a 5/64" allen key on the setscrew.
