im not sure what exactly this is called but im making my own door panels. If you have ever torn one apart its a flat board stapled to the piece of metal at the top that curves over to the door glass, then a "felt" weatherstripping is screwed into the metal with tiny phillips. Can you order these? mine are trash and all the felt broke off when i was inspecting them

And call the other guys if the first one has to put it on back order. It was going to take a couple of weeks for my felt kit, then I called the other catalog guy and had it in three days. It's just a difference of what they have in stock at any given time. All in all, the whole group of suppliers works out fairly well.

On a '66, you'll have to remove the windows to install the door felt. Hmmm...or maybe just the bottom stop blocks... I pulled the windows.

I was out talking to the local interior man, and you guys wouldn't believe what he uses for felts on hot rods & cars that he can't find pre-made pieces for.

He said go to Wal Mart, and in the craft department they have rolls of velcro that you can buy in different widths. Take it apart, and use the softer part for felts. He's used it for window scrapers, window channels, and so on & so forth. Now that's inventive, and low buck at that.
