Hey all, I'm wondering if one of you fine gentlemen out there would be willing to take a photo or two of the area below on your 67 Galaxie Fastback? Its where the underside of the radiator mount meets the rubber pad for the mounting arm - I have a 1/4" gap between the underside of the rad mount and that pad as you can see in the first photo and I don't think this is right. I'm wondering if there's another shim under there or something? I'm hoping by looking at another person's car I can figure out why I have this gap and can't get everything to line up. Let me know if this makes any sense?

When I took my 65 apart there were about 6 finger shaped shims on each side of the rad support. They are there for the alignment of the fenders and hood I believe. They looked like a flat Y-shaped finger that fit between the rubber and the rad support and pushed in snug against the bolt. Hope that explains it for you.
