Whats a good choice for aluminum radiator that is a direct replacement for 65 Mustang with 289 motor and auto trans, would like it to be able to handle motor that has roughly 300-320 rear wheel hp, and be adaptable to fan shroud, will be running flex lite 17" fan (better fan then stock ,but simple bolt on)

Summit....$244 for the bolt in, $175 for the universal, and it's been known to cool better than the $500 BeCools and Griffins

I like the universal! The summit rads are made by Northern. (At least mine is)

Cheap and handles my 302 just fine. I'm only making 270ish RWHP, but I've got a small electric fan too.

Make sure you run a shroud. And a BIG trans cooler, one of the B&M supercoolers.
