I now have a 93 Bird, but have had several over the years. I wish I had my 59 still. It was one of the few that had a 430 CI engine.

Don't be lazy and not post pics on this site. 1966 tbird! By the way, the air cleaner on the box infront of the car is worth $150 - $200. Most are lost when replaced like you did or rotted out.

No foolin'? $200? I'll gladly pull the cleaner off my '66 bird for that money. Any other high demand parts? Maybe I'll part out my car...

Hi,
I'm a new member. I've been driving my 64 Falcon as my daily-driver and slowly...very slowly restoring my 66 Thunderbird. I would appreciate any advise and anecdotes on the 66 T-bird. I'm looking for a place that rebuilds carburetors on Long Island for starters.

Thanks,
Tom
