Hi Guys,
I will soon be starting the build of my 393 Windsor & am fairly confident with most the build issues however setting up a 750DP is something I have never attempted before. What do I need to know about setting this carb-up? do I have to re-jet it for the 393? The engine will be dynoed when built but obviously I want to get it somewhere near being correct before the dyno.

Any help greatly appreciated.

What about running it first? Why send it straight to a shop? Holley have written articles in magazines of new carbs wrecked by so call tuners lol.I would phone carb people and get the right model first as that will save you in the long run.Its amazing how simple tuning with the right carb to begin with will make a great set up.Holley have their carbs 5% rich per application. A lot of teams run very basic set ups IF you start with the right model .Phone BG or Holley.I learnt this the hard way, trying to get a Vac sec carb to run like a DP carb.

Run it they way it came from Holley. Make adjustments on the dyno according to how the engine responds. First thing a do when I get a used carb is put it back the way (or as close as possible) Holley shipped it.
