My 62 Galaxie supposedly has a 2300-C model Holley carb. That info wasn't on the carb itself. These are the numbers actually on the carb:
CC2AE9510-B
1A2 1807-1

After feeding these numbers into the net I got the model number 2300-C.
I'm looking at renew/rebuild kits to order online, and my question is: will a Holley kit that claims to work for 2300 models fit with mine? I've seen other kits that say they fit for 2300 and 2300G models, but no mention of 2300-C compatibility.

You have the 352 engine?

My late 1970's era Holley specifications book shows a few different numbers, but all use same carb rebuild kit number. Perhaps there are too many or not necessary parts inside the box.

Yes I have the 352. I've been reading more on the web and apparently the part number is 1807-1 and the model number is 2300C, and one website lists a specific rebuild kit number 2924 for it, but there's no link or phone number to order with, so I'm still at a loss.

That is the number my Holly Spec book indicates for the Ford or Merc, 1960 to 1962 engines. Says Gasket set 4-17, Pep kit 3-107 or Master kit 85R-1109. If your dealer knows any of those numbers, they can go direct to an equavalent and late model number. I usually only buy the standard gasket kit, for the old parts like Jets, get reused again.
