I am actually in the process of building a '64 Fairlane Sport Coupe- Nascar style for a customer. I am getting all the pieces together at this time. He saw the '64 Galaxie I did last year in the Nas-Street style, and he bought one of my Fairlanes to do the same thing with. We are going to go with a 351 C-4V engine, a Toploader overdrive 4 speed, and a 9" rear with 8 lug 3/4 ton floater hubs and axles. When I saw the Hot Rod article it was a suprise because I had never seen anyone else do a Fairlane before.

yes that one, and a white one in the article, the grey one is the old euro racer.
f15 thats cool what are you doing to the front suspension/spindle etc.?
i have always wanted floating hubs.. sounds cool. i am trying to build a car capable of safe high speeds round corners as well with mod stock setup. but sure would like to build something like this

but i also really like the jack system in the old racers and in the HR article.
i hope you share some pics!
